Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave: Part 1

I recently started playing Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave. My history with the series started with Fire Emblem Three Houses which I played extensively in 2022 when I was deployed to Australia with the Marine Corps. I loved the game and wound up playing all of the routes and put well over 100 hours into the game. Due to my love for Three Houses I was thrilled by the announcement of Fire Emblem Engage and pre ordered the collectors edition. Unfortunately, at the beginning of 2023 I was told I would not be able to stay in the Marine Corps on active duty. As a result, I was experiencing a very serious bout of depression when the game released and wound up not playing the game right away. However, as I started to recover I began to play Fire Emblem Engage and recovered quickly from my depression. I still credit Fire Emblem for getting me through some very tough times in my life. As a result, Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave was easily my most hyped announcement over the past year and so far the game has not disappointed. I got through the prologue and started down Leda's story path. I picked her for a couple of reasons. First I love a good revenge story and I really hope she gets her revenge. I love how brutal and unapologetic she is so far. I haven't gotten very far though and I have only just made it to the Kalla temple. Overall, I really like Leda's skills to buff her allies and attack from range. Her allies compliment her well so far with a tanky Ax user, mage, and high evasion monk. I'm really looking forward to continuing her story since it seems that the original attack on her home town isn't as simple as it seems. I'll be especially interested to find out more about Maria since she seems to be one of the people that instigated the attack on Leda's home which ultimately lead to the death of her father. I think I'll be able to play a decent amount this weekend so there will be more to follow.

Spoilers ahead!

Characters:

Leda

One of the four protagonists. During my playthrough she killed two people on her revenge list.

Buccar

Tanky ax boy that rescued Leda when her hometown was attacked. He still serves her to this day.

Sirocco

Bard that serves the goddess Kalla. Apparently he wants to help Leda but it's not clear why.

Mu

Child that Leda and company rescue when Leda confronts Bjorn, one of the people that conspired against her father. Apparently she is looking for her mother who is some sort of famous mercenary.
