Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave Part 6
I took a bit of a break from playing Fortune’s Weave to play Super Metroid for the Game Club I’m a part of with the All Things Nintendo Podcast. I had a lot of fun playing an OG Metroidvania but now it’s back to Fire Emblem!

I finished off Anatolia’s Paralogue which was a doozy. It was very challenging to figure out how to save Anatolia’s people and kill the monsters along the way. I lost one person so I didn’t get the best reward possible but I couldn’t figure out a good way to get them all to safety. I suspect that part of the key is killing the big monster in the big of the map but I wound up just bypassing that guy to get everyone to the end of the map. I might try that paralogue again on another playthrough if I get the option to do that. I then finished off chapter 11 with the battle with Theodora. I had to restart the map since my strategy from the start was jacked. It’s key to have about 4 characters that work together well to ensure you can get to the switches whenever you are warned that Theodora is about to use her special ability. Still, at the end I lost one character (Mu’s
mom, Mikeala) to Theodora.

I really made the mistake of not rotating in weaker characters to ensure they are leveling up correctly. I might have to recruit one more character to my squad and ensure that I develop them properly. I think that going forward I will focus on 4 key characters and then rotate in about 4 to 6 other characters in those final 2 slots since most maps require at least 6 characters. I have three paralogues available to me in this chapter so I’m going to do Cai’s paralogue and Dietrich's first and then finish up with Orchel’s paralogue. This should leave me flush with cash and experience. I want to get at least 4 characters promoted to the next job (level 35) before I get to the end of the chapter. I don’t want to lose any more characters to permadeath at this point. I wonder if I will still be able to recruit Mikaela in the next run? I guess I’ll find out.
