Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave Part 3

Even though I still feel like I have a cold or some sort of virus today I was at least able to play for several hours today. I went all the way up to the start of Chapter 6 for Leda. I was able to recruit the Catania (spearwoman that I promoted to Soldier). I was able to get everyone to at least their basic level class and then I also recruited Guzran (gladiator) and a bowman by the name of Kiroc. I fought with Lechner but he escaped and then the next major battle was called something like the battle of the roses or the woman’s rise to battle (I can’t remember). Basically, the nun with a gun (Anatolia) that was driving the internet wild fought alongside my team with her friends. The upcoming battle is supposed to include a lot of flyers which is why I recruited Kiroc. I’m also hoping to recruit the mercenary woman (Jasmine) I fought in Chapter 5. I’ve really enjoyed the freedom to roam around the map even though the time limit does make it so I have to think about where I’m going and what I’m doing. I feel like nearly everything that I do has some sort of value to the team that I’m building. I also feel like, in general, I have a good rhythm of doing the weekly tasks like going to get training for my units, serving at the temples of the various gods, and doing the side quests quickly so I have time to go and explore the various ruins around the map while still hitting the towns I need to hit to boost my renown. I think a key to preserving your turns is buying the maps of the regions whenever you find them in the shops on the map and also uncovering all of the caravan points on the map to allow for “fast travel”. Even the caravan options that only show up as question marks will at least show you where those points are on the map so you can go and discover them for use later on. I’m sure that hitting those caravan points will pay dividends for me later on when I need to maximize the turns I have. Playing on hard/classic mode was also the right choice for me since I feel like there is the right amount of challenge and scaling at the moment for my various units. Can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me. I’m hoping the end of this chapter will allow Leda to uncover more about Lechner and who was backing the fall of Cydonia.

Looking forward to more!
